Over the past 15 years, more than 1,000 students from over 40 countries have trained at Finca Tierra.
You are reserving your place in our 15-day Permaculture Design Certificate course at Finca Tierra on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast.
The course takes place inside a working off-grid tropical system and combines the internationally established 72-hour Permaculture Design Certificate curriculum with hands-on fieldwork, direct observation of working systems, and a complete one-acre design exercise.
No previous permaculture experience is required.

Your deposit is applied toward your total tuition.

Accommodation
Accommodation is included in your tuition at no additional cost.
Finca Tierra has eight hand-built bamboo cabinas nestled within the tropical landscape:
Four private cabinas with queen beds
Four shared cabinas with two single beds each
Private cabinas are available at no extra charge and are assigned on a first-paid, first-served basis, according to the date full tuition is received.
Your $400 deposit secures your place in the course. Paying your remaining tuition balance earlier increases your chances of receiving a private cabina.

Refund & Transfer Policy
We understand that travel plans can change, and we aim to offer clear and fair payment terms.
Deposit
The $400 deposit is non-refundable and secures your place in the selected course.
Tuition Balance
Tuition paid above the deposit is fully refundable for cancellations made on or before September 3, 2027.
For cancellations made after September 3, 2027, tuition payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future Finca Tierra Permaculture Design Course, subject to availability.
Any difference in tuition between courses may apply.
This flexibility allows you to preserve the value of your tuition payment if your plans unexpectedly change.
